I though it was spring?

The last days have been looking more like summer than like spring. It is crazy to think that just a month ago there was so much snow that we couldn´t even leave the house without scooping the driveway clean. This saturday during the long Easter holiday break, we drove to a lake in a forrest a few minutes from our house. We prepared food, grilled and enjoyed each others company and the company of the sun!There were a lot frogs in the water and I have to admit the still cold water and the pretty big frogs didn´t make me excited enough to jump in the lake. But the kids, they didn´t bother at all! Oh to be a kid again..

Little Lambs and Flowers

My sisters friend told us that they had newborn lambs and that we were more than welcome to take a look. So yesterday the whole family gang went on their way to see spring itself in a close-up. When we arrived there little lambs were running around the field. Teasing each other and their poor mothers. Just like real kids, they were trying to explore the world. One time they were jumping around careless and free, but after a while they panicked if they found out they were far away from their mother. ¨Bleeehhh!!¨ they would bleat. And mother sheep would look around bleating ¨Bleeehhh!¨as if to say: Here I am little one, have you skipped away again???....
Father sheep wasn´t as cute as the rest(no offense), and bleated ten times harder then his wife's(yes you hear me right wife's) and little ones. The kids were in a big shock and Manasse said: ¨I don´t like papa sheep!¨.. I agree my son, I agree.

Soon it WILL be spring!

Soon my friends, it will be spring. Especially my Swedish friends who get to hang in there a little longer, since we got overwhelmed with snow yesterday.. Still I took this pictures today! I´m telling you it feels and smells like spring..

Flowers, a girl and a red dress

This little girl inspires me so often! When she runs by I just grab my camera and follow her everywhere. This saturday she came by in her little red dress and I just couldn´t stop ahhh oeehh aahh´ing :) She is a pretty little joy!

Surprisingly

Nature suprised me yesterday.. After I loaded my photos on my blog about the sad looking spring day, the sun started to shine like crazy! And when I looked out of my window this morning, again the sun greeted me as lovely as she is :)

Sad looking Spring-day

Today was a day like most of the days for the past weeks. Grey weather but still warm.. It makes you want to sit down and do nothing! The spring has left us waiting for quite a while. Sometimes it even felt more like autumn, but now the leaves and blossom are finally coming out of their shell.. Nature doesn´t look like it is in a hurry at all! So i just decided to enjoy this very moment, and capturing a sad spring day while my son was playing indoors.

Cast your burdens

Crazy how life goes. You can plan your own life, but you can´t control the conflicts or differences you face every day. Sometimes I drive myself crazy, what did I do wrong? Why was n´t today perfect? Sometimes i feel like hiding myself just to not be confronted with the other side of life. I need to remind myself every now and then, not to worry so much. God didn´t make me to worry but to enjoy to the fullest.. At the end of the day I always know I stayed true to me. I lay my struggles in greater hands and cast them away.. like throwing stones in the water
