Soon it WILL be spring!

Soon my friends, it will be spring. Especially my Swedish friends who get to hang in there a little longer, since we got overwhelmed with snow yesterday.. Still I took this pictures today! I´m telling you it feels and smells like spring..

February behind us..

It is an early saturday morning in the first week of March. My little boy is eating his breakfast in front of the telly, with his bicycle helmet on his head an his Swedish soccer suit on.. I am reflecting on the last weeks (which I do a lot, reflecting-girl). February has given me some beautifully nature moments. The perfect frozen ice, the different colors of our lake Vättern reflecting the the skye.. It is so crazy to think that we´ve had so many lonely moments on the ice with this amazing nature.. You would think the ice would´ve been FULL with people.

Nevertheless, I am so excited for the months in front of us. Sun, warmth, nature being reborn once again!

Reminder

Yes people it may surprise you, but the winter hasn´t started yet! Officialy, it will start the 21st of December.. Even though it hasn´t stopped snowing since November. The last few days for the first time ,there has not been falling any snow. The sun has been showing himself here and there. It gave me some breath taking moments, that I could never capture the way it truly looks.

Sad looking Spring-day

Today was a day like most of the days for the past weeks. Grey weather but still warm.. It makes you want to sit down and do nothing! The spring has left us waiting for quite a while. Sometimes it even felt more like autumn, but now the leaves and blossom are finally coming out of their shell.. Nature doesn´t look like it is in a hurry at all! So i just decided to enjoy this very moment, and capturing a sad spring day while my son was playing indoors.

Visingsö

Everyday when I walk out of my house I see a big lake. And in the middle of that big lake lies an island called Visingsö. I´ve been wondering for several months, what is out there. Who live there? Is it beautiful there? Well.. let me tell you, it sure is! Even though Eric and I went on a cloudy day which started with rain! The moment we arrived with the boat, the sun came through! It was such an mystic place. It looked forgetten because we saw almost nobody there! But guess what, we had the greatest fun even though it was -13 something. We drank warm choclad en ran around as if the island was ours. It was relaxing to just be really dorky kids with really dorky fun for a day!
